Travis is a fabulous realtor! As a local he knows the different areas and neighborhoods, and can offer insight on all things local. I would highly recommend Travis Svensrud. My family has worked with Travis to purchase our personal home in Bozeman, and the non-profit organization I direct, Montana Wilderness School, recently worked with Travis to find a property that was very specific for the needs and desires to run a growing outdoor education school in the valley. In both instances Travis was very professional and clear with his communication to make sure we were on the same page throughout each search and transaction. Because Travis has grown up in the Gallatin Valley he knows the landscape and market very well and has so much history in the area to draw from. If you are looking for a local agent with a great reputation and local knowledge, super easy to work with, and understanding of your particular situation, I would not hesitate to work with Travis.

Travis is THE realtor to use in Bozeman. He was born and raised here and he's been in the business through several market cycles. There is nobody more knowledgeable about the nuances of Bozeman real estate than Travis and he's got the perfect demeanor for showing potential houses and getting all the inside info on them! This is the 4th transaction we've done with Travis. We bought our personal home through him in 2014 and we got a great deal on an amazing house. He figured out that our house was a legal duplex, even though it was not listed as one, so we were able to rent the basement and pay most of our mortgage the first couple of years we owned it. No other buyer knew it was a legal duplex, but we had Travis on our side! We've also used him to find us investment properties like this purchase Travis found for us. I'm pretty sure we got it for below fair market value because Travis knew just what to offer and just how to make the offer acceptable for the seller. We have at least 3 other close friends who are realtors in Bozeman, we will use Travis every time. He's that good.

We LOVED working with Travis! His laid-back style and calm demeanor really made house hunting easy with no pressure. It took us SO long to find something that was perfect, but Travis stuck with us and was ready to go check a house out at the drop of a hat. When we finally found our dream house, Travis was smart with the negotiation/price and got us in over four other bids. Needless to say, he’s the best, I’m over and beyond happy with how he made this often difficult process, seamless.
